New start of the CE Cell Engineering

CE Cell Engineering GmbH is a technology company focused on optimization processes for crystalline solar cells with priority to the development of laser based processes on the one hand to improve power and reliability of the cells and on the other hand for cell cutting. Our engineers are paying special attention to a high usability of these processes within automated systems with fast cycle times as they are required for series production. The basis for all engineering activities are the long term experiences of the former company ITS Innotech Solar GmbH already being focused on laser based optimization processes for crystalline solar cells, as well as various activities of sister companies from the Hörmann Group. The company disposes of extensive machinery equipment for development activities. Additionally to laboratory equipment, there are two fully automated production lines available on which small batches of solar cells can be processed. Besides the optimization of solar cells, fully automated measurements of all electrical parameter of cells, color sorting, labeling / marking as well as cutting of cells into various geometries can be carried out.
